Stop. Notice what you are thinking about. Something from the past? Something from the present? Get clarity on what you are focusing on. Most likely you are living in the past or the present and worried about something that isn’t even happening. Once you acknowledge the belief/feeling ask yourself this – Is this true? Who would I be without this thought?
Find a quiet place to sit for a few minutes.
Close your eyes.Connect with your breath.
Find where you feel the anxiety in your body.
Go into that area in your body (eyes still closed).
Completely be present with where you feel the anxiety. Do this with no judgment and no resistance. Welcome it in with acceptance. Welcome it in with love.Become present with your breath again and begin breathing into this space in your body. Make sure you stay present and loving (No resistance. No judgment).
Stay here as long as you need. The anxiety should begin to dissipate. Repeat as many times as needed.
Begin to replace whatever story you are believing with a positive one. This is super important. Remember, the only thing that is real, is what is in the present moment. Let your breath, love and awareness be your best friend.
Move the energy. Go for a walk, go for a jog. Do an activity you enjoy. Call a trusted friend. Focus on things that make you feel good.
